About Us

Purpose of the Center

To examine the dormitories where Turks have lived and have lived throughout history, and all Turkish communities that have lived and are living in these dormitories; To research the cultural works created by Turks in these dormitories, especially language, history, literature and art works, and the relations of Turkish culture with surrounding cultures, and to provide support for all kinds of studies carried out in this field.

Fields of Activity of the Center

- To organize national and international meetings to exchange information and ideas on all issues related to the Center's field of activity, and to announce the results obtained to the Turkish and world public opinion.

- To cooperate with institutes, centers, organizations and individuals in Turkey and outside Turkey that carry out studies on the Turkish world.

- To collect and evaluate studies related to the Turkish world in Turkey and abroad, and to support ongoing studies.

- To examine the education, language, history and literature works, archeology, art, and today's political, social, economic, geographical and cultural situation of the Turkish world.

- To cooperate with organizations at home and abroad in line with the aims of the center and to receive support from these organizations when necessary.

- To organize meetings such as national and international conferences, panels, symposiums and to publish documentaries, CDs, books, magazines and similar publications in order to realize the aims of the center.

- To cooperate with media organizations regarding the issue.

- To engage in other activities related to the aims of the center.
